It Went Well
I’m back in H-Town and have recovered from the travelling and what-not. The wedding, which was for T’s cousin Carrie, was so beautiful. It took place here: http://www.castlefarms.com/ It was a perfect place for a wedding. The buildings and scenery were so awesome, like the perfect backdrop for wedding day photos. And of course the weather was perfect, a little chilly, which was nice. I love attending weddings. I use them as idea sources for my own wedding in the future. As you may remember, finding a dress and shoes was like passing a kidney stone. But it all looked pretty good. The dress was cute. The shoes were cute, but ended up hurting my feet. A lot! Thank god I had my back up flip-flops. Here’s me and T’s sis at the wedding:

The bride was beautiful and the groom was handsome. So perfect it makes me want to gag.
The only thing that would have made the weekend better would have been if my T was there. He got shipped out to Nigeria on Saturday afternoon. And it totally sucks. I’ve been sitting here on my couch feeling bummed out about a myriad of different things that seem to surface when my T leaves. But I won’t get all touchy feely with you tonight. Thankfully, T made it to Nigeria no problem and he will be back soon.
Not soon enough though.
