Disproportionate
Just so you know, ‘disproportionate’ was a pretty hard word to spell. I don’t think I’ve ever spelled it out before in my life. Since blogging I’m running into all kinds of words that I have no idea how to spell. Weird.
And seriously, what’s up with ‘weird.’ I thought the rule was “I before E, except after C.’ WTF!
Ok….sorry about my little high horse, soap box, tangent rant. I’m just getting horrible at spelling lately and I’m going to blame it on technology. Back to the business of today’s post…
The Wal-Mart that T and I frequent has a crap ton of handicapped parking spaces. And no, this isn’t a post about how I feel that handicapped spaces are actually discriminating against the rest of us who have full use of our legs.
WOW-did I really just say that? I don’t really mean it, but it popped into my head and I typed it. I’m thinking about going back and deleting it
…
…
OK, I’ll leave it. But I didn’t mean it. I think handicapped parking spaces are wonderful. But I rarely actually see a handicapped person using them. Sure they have the handicapped license plate or the sticker or whatever, but sometimes I think that they feel that laziness is a good enough excuse to get a close parking spot. Whatev. Anywho…as you know handicapped parking spaces are usually marked with a picture of a dude in a wheelchair. I never really paid much attention to the wheelchair guys that were painted on parking spots until we started going to this particular Wal-Mart. I had to take a picture of the spot to show you what I mean by today’s post title of ‘disproportionate.’
Talk about some Big Wheels!
Seriously, are the wheelchair markings in your local supermarket parking lot as funny looking as this one? I want to know. I haven’t noticed this anywhere else, but now I’m on the lookout to see if this new disfigured wheelchair is a trend.
Wow, I really have too much time to ponder about things that don’t really matter, don’t I? Oh well!
NOTE: Shoutouts to all my new homies who have been visiting PLSF lately. My site has been jammin’ and I LOVE it. Yesterday I had 295 views which is exacltly 132 more than ever! lol. Thanks for checking me out. In a totally platonic sort of way that is!
