Pop Open Kennel Revisited
Remember way back when I did a post about the Boots & Barkley Pop Open Dog Kennel? The point of that post was to establish the fact that the kennel impossible to fold up back into the miniscule shape that I bought it in. It’s one of those springy, nylon tent things. The small fold up size is wonderful…if you’re smart enough to decipher the ancient coded directions and fold it back up. At the end of the post I stated that my engineer boyfriend would eventually return home and grab the kennel and fold it up instantly. And then laugh at me because I was too dumb to figure it out.
I was 100% correct.
And here’s some video blogs vlogs to chronicle the pop up kennel humiliation. Enjoy! I can’t listen to my own voice…so I’ll just wait over here while you watch.

Finally….after pain, humiliation, shame, and other character defamation I was able to fold the damn thing up! I AM TRIUMPHANT!

All it took was a smarty pants engineer to give me the push to figure it out.
Next quest: Learning how to do basic Algebra!

*I would like to apologize for referring to my boyfriend as ‘retarded’ in the second video. My boyfriend is not ‘retarded’ and I was in no way comparing my boyfriend to someone who is in fact mentally retarded. But-we keep it real here at PLSF. Next time I will be sure to refer to him as something more accurate like, dumb head or idiot or freakin’ moron.

Well, Dear, you’re absolutely right. I googled Boots & Barkley Pop Open Dog Kennel. We use the large size for our three cats when we travel, because I can also put a litter box in. But, when we get back home, I have the darndest time putting it away. My husband is also an engineer (aeronautical & electrical – retired) but of little use. We both watched all 3 videos several times and tried to do it together, but it is a one-person (or should I say one-woman) operation. So finally I tried one last time and I did it.
You can be sure that I will keep your blog in my favorites for quite awhile, because the next time I open it up, I will have to refer to it again. At my age I can’t remember squat for very long.
