Today is my last day at my current job. I cannot believe that I’m leaving my little cocoon where I’m surrounded by 400 old people who love me to death! I also cannot believe that I’ve been working at a ‘real’ job for an entire year! Where did the last year go? It feels like I just started!
Check back throughout the day as I will be posting some updates on little gifts/trinkets that the residents (and possibly my fellow employees) are giving me as well as their thoughtful and kind words that they will be sharing with me today.
At least I’m hoping for trinkets and well wishes! Maybe I’m counting my eggs before they hatch or whatever that appropriate phrase is!
Have a nice day yall!

So the job was just like being at home:surrounded by old people who love you!!!
Love you Joob!!
I know how fast a year can go by. It does seem like yesterday. I started working at my local craft store last year before it opened and I’ve been there over a year now and I can’t believe how fast it went. It’s always bitter sweet leaving a job you are comfortable with to start a new beginning. Good luck with your new job.
OK I am catching up on comments since my stupid work computer wont let me for some reason! LOL I am totally thinking about asking IT to fix that HUGE problem I have! Don’t worry J… I still read them at work!
