What the heck happened to SNL?

T and I are watching Saturday Night Live right now. We normally don’t watch the show, but apparently Sarah Palin is making a special appearance and we thought it might be worth watching. Just for kicks.

And now I remember why I’m no longer a fan of SNL…

because it’s NOT FUNNY!!!!

I used to watch SNL every Saturday night. I used to watch it before I was probably old enough to watch it. I can remember when Chris Farley, Adam Sandler, Will Ferrell, and David Spade ruled the show. They were funny. The skits were funny.

What happened? Who decided that the crap they show now is actually is funny? It’s not. It’s some of the most un-funny television I’ve ever seen. Although the Suze Orman skit did make me smile…a little.

I’m just so dissapointed in SNL. And I miss the good old days.

Anyone else agree?

T and I are going to be doing some packing today as we’re getting ready to move. We will HOPEFULLY close early this coming week. Actually we NEED to close this coming week. T is going to be heading back to Nigeria in a couple of weeks and I want to be settled in the new house before he up and leaves me again. I will keep you posted!!!
