Kill Me Now…

…kidding. I don’t have a desire to die. BUT-I still do not have Internet at my new apartment, which makes me feel like death is imminent. I keep getting the run-around (whatever that means) from AT&T. I’m waiting for a technician person to come Monday to fix whatever the hell is wrong with it. It’s really hell not having Internet access. Luckily I live in a town where there is a Starbucks on every corner and three in between. I can use their wireless Internet on my laptop, but it’s just not the same.

I feel obligated to purchase something (usually a hot chocolate)
I have to drive here (I could walk, but might die crossing the seven lanes of traffic)
I always feel like people are looking at my screen trying to see what I’m up to (I do the same)
I can’t sit here in my underwear
I’m just not cool enough to hang with the people who hang at Starbucks (or maybe I’m much cooler than them)

I know you’re all getting pissed that I’m not back to our regularly scheduled blogging yet but don’t be hating. I just cannot let my thoughts and feelings flow while sitting at a busy Starbucks.

Anyway…I hope you, your family, your friends, your pets, were able to have a wonderful Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa/day off of work. My day was peachy although I was thoroughly missing home for that 24 hr period.

I'm so holiday.

My lovely boss actually gave me the hot coco mix and fuzzy socks for my Christmas gift. She’s so nice. I gave her a hug and pretended that it made up for not getting her anything.
