I’ve been in my new apartment since December something and I am just now getting my Internet working. It was a long, arduous, and frustrating process. I had been waiting on the schmucks in my apartment complex to fix the phone lines outside of my apartment (or something like that-I’m not 100% sure). Finally, earlier this week I put my foot down. I called the front office repeatedly and got more and more irate with each phone call. I guess they just got sick of me calling and they got it fixed. I mean, come on! Was it really that hard? I guess I will forget about starting out nice and then getting rude. And I will always use my assertive, I might come shoot up your office, voice from now on.

So good news is that I have Internet and can blog again to my hearts content.

Bad news is that it’s tax season and I’m buys as heck at work. I’m talking 10-12 hour days and weekends. It’s insane. I’m surprised I’m not at work right now.

Luckily I didn’t have to work all day and I was able to clean my apartment. It had turned into a black hole throughout the week. You’d think that not being here would have prevented that, but it didn’t.

But, I feel like I’m back to normal now that I have my Internet. I’d much rather sit on my couch and surf the Internet then sit in a Starbucks, purchase an obligatory something or other, and surround myself with City folk. Ahhh….this is so much better. And I will finally get to enjoy my lovely HP Pavilion laptop that I purchased a while back.

I’m still torn on wether or not I should get a television. I can’t really afford another bill (cable), and I’m not sure how many channels I’d get without cable. I can watch my shows on the Internet, but it’s just not the same as watching them on an actual television.

I’m trying to make my blog a little more interactive, so the poll may help with that. Plus, I can ask all of you stupid questions and I know you’ll feel obligated to answer.
