Treat Jar

I bought this canister at Wally World a while back specifically to corral the 18 different kinds of treats that I had for Hurley.  Dogs need variety too.
I added some rub-on letters that I found in my scrapbook stash and now it’s super cute!  Don’t ya think?
Have a wonderful Sunday!  I will be enjoying the [...]

Lists

I’m a list type person.  To-Do Lists, Grocery Lists, and….well….I can’t really think of any more lists that I create.  But I’m a big fan.  Since I’m feeling a little uninspired lately (as far as my blog goes) I think I’m going to rock some lists for a couple days.  Random?  Yes.  Interesting?  No guarantees.  [...]

World’s Fastest Destroyer

No, I’m not talking about some military battle ship.
I’m talking about my 11 pound dog.  He wins the award for “World’s Fastest Destroyer.”  Well, if there was such an award-he would win.
Congratulations Hurley!
This little toy went from cute/fluffy lamb to pile of stuffing in 3 minutes flat.  And I thought he didn’t have any [...]

Don’t Leave Us!

T is heading back to Nigeria today for another month of hard work.  He was actually scheduled to leave last Sunday, but the trip was rescheduled because of hurricane Gustav.  As you Houstonians know, Gustav didn’t do a thing.  No rain.  Nothing.  Well, it did give the news folk something to talk about all day [...]

It’s All About Me

Isn’t it always all about me?  And for those of you out there who think the world revolves around you…you’re wrong.  So wrong.
I’m kidding.  I’m not stuck up and I don’t think the world revolves around me.  I wish it did, but it doesn’t.  But here at PLSF, I think it really is all about [...]

Cheaper Isn’t Always Better

I’m cheap.  I don’t like to spend a lot of money on things.  When I purchase an unnecessary item like clothing or a picture frame or whatever I have to REALLY like it to spend money on it.  You wouldn’t know that from the massive amount of crap that I have stuffed into my tiny apartment, but [...]

My Future Backyard

This past weekend on my adventure downtown I was finally able to visit the new Discovery Green park.  Check out their website for more info www.discoverygreen.com.

Anyway..I just thought I’d share a few pictures that I snapped while I was there.  Mind you, this was sort of an unplanned visit to the park.  It just happened [...]

A Million Little Pieces

Hurley (for the most part) is a pretty good dog.  He has a few little issues, but I’m hoping that our upcoming obedience class will help.  He’s still young, so a little disobedience can be expected.

A week or so ago I decided to leave him out while I went to Walgreen’s.  And by leave him out, I [...]

You Need a PHD…

That is a picture of the Boots & Barkley Pop-Open Kennel that I purchased this weekend at Target.  I love Target.  That’s not a picture of the one that I purchased (mine is blue), but you get the idea.  It’s made out of nylon and weighs like half a pound.  I purchased this to use [...]

Calm and Assertive…

Calm and assertive is the mantra of my beloved Dog Whisperer, Cesar Millan.  I have been a fan of Cesar’s since I first knew he existed.  I’ve read his books and try to practice what he preaches with my own dog, Hurley.
Aww….
Hurley is such a happy-go-lucky guy.  I credit his happiness and well-balanced personality to [...]
